Live content moderation engine protecting kids from digital harm.
HarmBlock is SafeToNet's safeguarding AI that makes smart devices, platforms, and apps safe for children by preventing the filming, viewing, and sharing of explicit content in real time. Deployed inside a device's operating system, it provides on-device protection that works across every app, in livestreams, and even within end-to-end encrypted environments, and because it sits in the OS it cannot be circumvented or deleted. The system is privacy-centric — no data enters or leaves HarmBlock and there is no reporting — and it blocks illegal material such as child sexual abuse material (CSAM), with adult content blocking as an option.
SafeToNet targets device manufacturers (OEMs), telcos, and gaming platforms, positioning HarmBlock as a way to comply with online safety legislation; the first HarmBlock-enabled smartphone is the HMD Fuse, with further devices announced to follow. The company reports over 13 years of cyber-safety innovation and says it safeguards children in more than 130 countries.
