Hotel Shield

Protecting hotels from criminal activity and human trafficking through predictive intelligence.

Hotel Shield works directly with hospitality brands, property owners, REITs, and property managers to prevent, detect, and respond to human trafficking at their properties. Its 24/7 hospitality security management solution combines two integrated components: Real-Time Detection & Response, which includes facial matching via TruePathVision against databases of missing children and known bad actors, QR-code-based staff incident reporting, and support from trained human trafficking investigators; and Intelligence & Risk Analysis, which covers property crime analysis, open-source intelligence, sexual ad monitoring, and suspicious person monitoring. The Hotel Shield app brings real-time alerts, historical intelligence, and case workflows into one platform, with audit logs, user access controls, and built-in evidence preservation.

The company also operates a 24/7 Security Operations Center staffed with trained trafficking intelligence analysts who validate handoffs to law enforcement, and it maintains networks of law enforcement contacts and survivor care organizations. Hotel Shield ran a pilot around Super Bowl LIV with a privately owned U.S. hotel chain in the New Orleans area, detecting more than a dozen potential sex trafficking situations over four weeks, and has published a best-practices framework for combating human trafficking in hospitality. Trials of the platform are offered in Fort Worth and Dallas, Texas.
