Discover, develop, and distribute transformative health solutions.
LivFul develops and distributes health solutions for underserved populations, with a focus on bringing health equity to the global south. The company follows a three-step model: it discovers innovative but overlooked intellectual property such as safe medicines, runs early-stage, small-scale human efficacy trials with local health systems in developing countries to US FDA standards, and then distributes through regulatory approval, out-licensing to global-north pharmaceutical partners, and public/private partnerships.
Its lead assets include STAYTEC, a patented non-toxic insect repellent offering 14 hours of protection against malaria and other mosquito-borne diseases, and the LV101R and LV201R tablets, cancer treatment candidates targeting gastrointestinal and colorectal cancers and glioblastoma, with clinical trials in Brazil. LivFul was co-founded by Hogan Bassey, who grew up battling malaria in Nigeria and formulated his own repellent as a child before learning repellents already existed, and the company operates under the motto L.I.F.E. — Liberating Innovation For Everyone.
